These are some very strong plays.
ENGLISH PREMIERSHIP
BOLTON (+1/2) -110 over Liverpool
Liverpool are still waiting on a clean bill of health for a couple of their international players after the World Cup Qualifier matches this past week and there are some "game-time" decisions to be made. Regardless, Liverpool have a big problem at the striker position as there are several regulars who WILL NOT play. Liverpool should risk playing Morientes since he is ineligible for the looming CHAMPIONS LEAGUE match against Juventus, next week. And yes, CHAMPIONS LEAGUE! You can be sure that all the talk in the Liverpool camp is that they have to forget about Juventus and focus on beating Bolton - BUT HOW CAN THEY? Champions League is what all European soccer players dream about and Juventus is one of the most storied teams in European Soccer history. Despite their best efforts, the Liverpool coaching staff will be unable to stop their players from looking past Bolton.
Bolton, on the other hand, have been able to rest over this mini-break and the only significant absence from their line-up is El-Hadji Diouf, who is serving a 3 match suspension. Bolton will play their regular style, with a STRONG back line that will easily thwart the "replacement players" that are on Liverpool's front line. At worst, I expect Bolton to come away from Anfield with a draw so the half goal is an absolute gift.
ENGLISH LEAGUE ONE
HUDDERSFIELD (+1/2) -120 over Peterborough
You may want to consider taking Huddersfield on the moneyline at a very sweet +145 but I will play it safe and eliminate the prospect of a draw. Like Liverpool, Peterborough are facing an injury crisis. Peterborough have several regulars who will not play due to injury but it may not matter anyway considering their recent run of play. Peterborough have not won in their last 5 games and have not even scored a goal in their last 3 games. In direct contrast, Huddersfield have won 3 games in a row and have not allowed a goal in their last 2 games. The Terriers of Huddersfield are healthy and the only problem they face is how to best utilize all of the healthy players that they have on hand. Huddersfield are only 6 points out of a promotion play-off spot so expect a tremendous effort from them. Place a little on the +145 moneyline but ABSOLUTELY put more than a little on Huddersfield with the half goal advantage.
Good Luck
